The Indian winner Gautam Shewakramani, Audio Compass, will travel to Israel and will have the opportunity to meet the smartest and the most innovative companies, techies, startups, designers, artists, scientists, investors, and cultural drivers from Israel and abroad.
Start Tel Aviv is a global event held by The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Global that brings together startups from different countries to take part in an intense, five-day startup experience in the heart of Tel Aviv.
Ms. Ditza Froim, Minister Counsellor, Public Diplomacy at the Embassy of Israel said, “ Ideas, dreams and willingness to take chances are the pillars of innovation and entrepreneurship. For Israel, these are the essence of our existence and the pillars of our security, society, culture and economy. Israel has established a vibrant sustainable economy with GDP per capita of about USD 37,000, a global leader in the field of agriculture and a hot-house for innovations, entrepreneurship and start-ups. Through its human capital, Israel generates more start-up companies than large, industrial nations like Japan, China, Korea, Canada, German and the UK. In addition, Israel has attracted per capita, over twice as much venture capital investment as the US and 30 times more than all the members of the European Union combined. This event today demonstrates how much Israelis and Indian are alike. I have no doubt that we will see more and more collaborations in innovation and entrepreneurship between Israelis and Indian in the near future.”
